Lake Worth DUI checkpoint- Fort Lauderdale / Coral Springs / West Palm Beach accident attorneys
According to the Sun Sentinel, more than 80 drivers were stopped on Friday night at a DUI checkpoint west of Lake Worth with violations ranging from faulty equipment to drunk driving.
The Florida Highway Patrol stopped every third vehicle going west in the 4400 block of Lake Worth Road from about 10:30 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday, according to a summary report of the checkpoint. Troopers checked drivers for paperwork violations, equipment problems, seat belt use and sobriety.
Three people were arrested on DUI charges.
